While the state election campaigning is gaining momentum in the festivities of Diwali, a harrowing incident has come to light from Maval, where an office bearer of the BJP was crushed to death with a stone. The murdered individual has been identified as Nilesh Dattatray Kadu (age 30, a resident of Sawantwadi, Maval).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Kadu was the General Secretary of the Bharatiya Janata Party Student Alliance in Maval Taluka. As per the police information, Kadu was murdered on October 31 at night in an open space near the entrance of Prabhachiwadi village in Mahagaon Gram Panchayat area of Maval taluka. This shocking murder has created a panic in the area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
After getting information about this incident, the team of Police Inspector Kishor Dhumal of Lonavala Rural Police has immediately reached the scene and has been inspecting the incident site since morning. Notably, the police have detained two suspects in just a few hours of the incident.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
