A shocking incident has come to light from Pune where a 19-year-old girl lodged a complaint against a young man for molesting and sexually exploiting her and further defaming her by spreading misinformation about her by creating a fake Instagram account.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In this case, the Bharti Vidyapeeth Police registered a case against an individual under the different sections of the POCSO Act. This incident had been going on since 2022 until October 10, 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
As per the police information, the plaintiff and the accused acquainted with each other when two were travelling somewhere in Travells in 2022. After that, the accused increased his contact with the plaintiff through the Instagram app and later proposed the plaintiff. However, after the plaintiff rejected him, the accused created a fake Instagram account on the plaintiff’s name and wrote a derogatory message on that Instagram account’s bio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He defamed the plaintiff by mentioning her number as a call girl on that Instagram account. After that, the accused started demanding 5000 rupees from the plaintiff. The accused later came to the plaintiff’s house, wore her a mangalsutra, and sexually harassed her. He further maintained sexual relations with her against her will.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Meanwhile, the plaintiff had gone to her sister’s house. At that time, the accused called the plaintiff’s sister and threatened her to send the plaintiff towards him or he would defame her by posting obscene images of her on social media. He further sent some obscene images of the plaintiff to her sister’s Instagram account and further posted a photo by writing the plaintiff’s number and writing a suicide note.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
After this, the fearful plaintiff immediately lodged a complaint at Bharti Vidyapeeth Police Station. Assistant Police Inspector Dodmise is investigating further in this case.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
