Pune: Maha Yuti-NCP (SP) candidate from the Vadgaon Sheri Assembly constituency Bapusaheb Pathare has promised to complete the Kharadi-Shivane Road immediately. He also assured that he would also address traffic congestion on Pune-Nagar Road.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He made these promises to local residents in Kharadi during his poll padyatra. There was a massive response to his rally by citizens. MVA office-bearers and workers were present during his campaign through Yashwant Nagar, Borate Nagar, Raghvendra Nagar, Tukaram Nagar, Shejwal Park, Sonai Park, Vidi Kamgar Colony.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Bapusaheb Pathare said, \u201cTraffic issues on Nagar Road will be eased after completion of Kharadi-Shivane Road. A good alternative route will be available for citizens in the constituency and commuters from across the city. The road was completely neglected in the past 10 years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWho put hurdles in its construction? Why was it left incomplete? These are some unanswered questions. The incomplete road work in Kharadi-Vadgaon Sheri-Kalyani Nagar-Warje-Shivane along the river bank must be completed immediately. I frequently corresponded with the then government, the District Guardian Minister and the Municipal Commissioner. But the administration failed to complete the work.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Former party MP Adv Vandana Chavan was present in the padyatra. She expressed confidence that Pathare would definitely be elected. She said, \u201cBapusaheb Pathare carried out various development projects in the constituency during his tenure as an MLA. People will acknowledge his work.
