Pune \/ Indapur: NCP (SP) State President Jayant Patil on Monday (November 18) appealed to voters to teach a lesson to the \u2018traitors\u2019 (gaddar). He was speaking at Kati in Indapur taluka in a poll rally.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He said, \u201cMaharashtra never forgives traitors. Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj ordered severing of hands and pushing them over a cliff as a punishment for treachery. In the 21st century too, the Marathi people do not forgive cheating. The people of the State will never forgive those who cheated Sharad Pawar.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He was speaking during the election campaign of MVA Indapur Assembly segment candidate Harshavardhan Patil. Former Panchayat Samiti Speaker Vilas Bapu Waghmode, Nira-Bhima sugar factory chairman Lalasaheb Pawar, Adv Rahul Makhare, Tejsinh Patil, Maharudra Patil, Vilas Lavande, Madan Patil, Krushnaji Yadav, Chhaya Padsalkar, Amol Bhise, Shalini Bhong, Babloo Pathan, Kishor Pawar, Suresh Jagdale, Babasaheb Khartode, Prafulla Chavan, Amar Kalkute, Dattatraya Mane, Tanaji Naik, Prabhakar Khade, Bapu Chandanshive, Ashok Ghogre, Chandrakant Bhosale, Dattatraya Babar, Deepak Jagtap, Amar Bansode, Kiran Jagtap, Nagnath Jagtap and other dignitaries were present.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Jayant Patil said, \u201cSharad Pawar has given you many posts. He made you MLAs and then ministers. He always gave you preferential treatment. He included you even in a small ministerial team of 11-12 ministers. Unfortunately, they left him. Some of them, at least, do not criticise their mentor. But your \u2018Mama\u2019 (maternal uncle-Dattatraya Bharne) is criticising, challenging Pawar Saheb and speaking in an arrogant manner. Voters from Indapur will never forgive him.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Harshavardhan Patil said, \u201cThe MLA did all wrong things in the past 10 years. Jayant Patil as a minister wrote him asking to conduct a survey for 5 TMC water. However, he told the people that it was an approval letter. The MLA and others left Pawar Saheb for their selfish ends.
