Mumbai: Parleys are underway in Delhi and Mumbai to name the Chief Minister as the BJP and the Shiv Sena (BT) continue to be at loggerheads. People asked if Ajit Pawar is in the race.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ajit Pawar has asked Sunil Tatkare to meet Amit Shah and PM Narendra Modi in Delhi. Earlier, Tatkare met Devendra Fadnavis too. It was Sharad Pawar\u2019s strategy to win as many ministerial berths as possible by not claiming the Chief Minister\u2019s post. Sharad Pawar even allowed the Congress to have the CM\u2019s post and asked Ajit Pawar to be happy with the DyCM\u2019s post.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Though it is said sarcastically that Ajit Pawar set a record of being the DyCM for four terms. But the NCP took the important Finance, Revenue and Home Ministries. Later, Ajit Pawar criticised this and cried injustice. But he seems to be following the same policy like his uncle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Ajit Pawar is most likely to be the DyCM and would hold the Finance portfolio. He may lobby to win the Revenue, Women and Child Development and other such ministries. He is also trying to get a few berths at the Centre.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
