An offence was registered against Bothra at the Chatuhshrungi Police Station last week. Developer Navin Suresh Agarwal lodged a complaint in this regard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to IO API Dattatraya Waghmare, Karan Bothra has been summoned for an inquiry into the 26 crore fraud case. He told us that he was out of station and would visit the police in a couple of days. An alert has been issued to all airports to stop him from escaping to other countries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The complainant runs Purple Construction Pvt Ltd. He got to know Bothra through business. Bothra told Agarwal that he could earn big profit by investing in a steel and other metal business. He induced Agarwal to invest money from time to time. He also undersigned a declaration-cum-undertaking that he would pay profit and the principal amount by cheque.
