The first \u2018Tarang\u2019 function was held on Sunday (February 15) in the presence of the Chief Minister, the Deputy Chief Minister, and leading stars from the Marathi and Hindi filmdom. Over 70 singers and musicians made the audience swing to their beats and won the hearts of the police families amidst attractive fireworks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/DGGRXklJKbA\">https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/DGGRXklJKbA<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Ajay-Atul musical evening programme was organised by the Pune Police and the Punit Balan Group (PBG) for the police officers and personnel so that they could spend some leisure time with their families. CM Devendra Fadnavis, DyCM Ajit Pawar, Union Minister Murlidhar Mohol, Higher and Technical Education Minister Chandrakant Patil, Minister of State Madhuri Misal, Commissioner of Police (CP) Amitesh Kumar, Jt CP Ranjan Kumar Sharma, PBG President Punit Balan, many politicians and artistes were present.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery has-nested-images columns-default is-cropped wp-block-gallery-1 is-layout-flex wp-block-gallery-is-layout-flex\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1160\" height=\"653\" data-id=\"95217\" src=\"https:\/\/puneriawaz.co.in\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2025\/02\/Ajay-Atul-1160x653.webp\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-95217\" srcset=\"https:\/\/puneriawaz.co.in\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2025\/02\/Ajay-Atul-1160x653.webp 1160w, https:\/\/puneriawaz.co.in\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2025\/02\/Ajay-Atul-800x450.webp 800w, https:\/\/puneriawaz.co.in\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2025\/02\/Ajay-Atul-1536x864.webp 1536w, https:\/\/puneriawaz.co.in\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2025\/02\/Ajay-Atul-1024x576.webp 1024w, https:\/\/puneriawaz.co.in\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2025\/02\/Ajay-Atul.webp 1920w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1160px) 100vw, 1160px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2018Tarang\u2019, held at the Police Ground in Shivajinagar, began with \u2018Ganesh Vandana\u2019 presented by Danseuse Sharvari Jamenis. Actress Meghna Erande entertained children with her performance. Then Ajay-Atul started the performance. Ajay-Atul and his co-artistes presented popular numbers such as \u2018Natrang\u2019, \u2018Malharwari\u2019, \u2018Vaat desu degha deva\u2019, \u2018Malhisma Chand hain tu\u2019, \u2018Aai Gondhala ye\u2019, \u2018Sairat\u2019 fame \u2018Yaad lagala ga yaad lagala\u2019, \u2018Bhaltach zalay aaj\u2019, \u2018Chandra\u2019, \u2018Fandry\u2019 fame \u2018Jeev zala veda pisa\u2019, \u2018Dolbywalya Bolwao mazya DJla\u2019. Members of the audience were overwhelmed. As Ajay-Atul played chart-buster \u2018Zing Zing Zingaat\u2019 from Marathi film \u2018Sairat\u2019, the audience went crazy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The musical evening concluded with the song \u2018Deva Shri Ganesha\u2019. The Chief Minister and the Deputy Chief Minister were present till the conclusion of the programme and cheered the artistes. Fireworks and decorative illumination caught the attention of all those present.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Meritorious cops honoured<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Fadnavis and Pawar honoured meritorious police officers and personnel by presenting mementos. Around 17 tola gold was stolen from a jeweller. The police not only cracked the case in record time but recovered the stolen gold within three months. He said that necessary measures were being taken to ensure welfare of the police and their families. Issues related to their health and residence would be solved completely soon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Good wishes from the DyCM<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">DyCM Ajit Pawar praised the Tarang 2025 programme and extended his good wishes to the police.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Special felicitation of Punit Balan<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A special felicitation of Punit Balan was held by the Pune Police at the hands of CM Fadnavis for taking the initiative to sponsor the \u2018Tarang\u2019 programme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Cine artistes, sportspersons attend the function<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Actor Boman Irani, Film Director Nagraj Manjule, actors Ajinkya Deo, Siddharth Jadhav, actresses Amruta Khalvilkar, Puja Chopra, Smita Gondkar, Deepti Devi, Megha Dhade, Rutuja Bhosale and Preet Zangiyani, actors Pushkar Jog, Tanmay Jaka, Kedar Jadhav, Rahul Tripathi and Madhyav Abhyankar were present.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThe Pune Police worked hard during the Lok Sabha and State Assembly elections; they ensured law and order and curbed crime throughout 2024. The contribution of officers and personnel from the Pune Police Force is laudable.
