Moreover, he also supports Dhol-Tasha Pathaks. Citizens are inconvenienced a lot during the Ganesh festival, particularly during the immersion procession, due to the playing of DJ music, which is also a proven health hazard. In this backdrop, Balan has resolved to free the festival from DJ music and to not help, by not issuing paid advertisements, Ganpati mandals which indulge in such activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Balan\u2019s announcement has been welcomed by all strata of society. The Band Kala Vikas Pratishthan has also welcomed the constructive stance taken by Balan and has felicitated him. Pratishthan office-bearers Omkar Adhav, Audumbar Shinde, Hemant Mane, Suvan Gawali, and Balasaheb Adhav were present during the felicitation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>QUOTE<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cPune\u2019s Ganeshotsav has a glorious tradition. It should not earn a bad name; on the contrary, it is the responsibility of us all to hand it over to the next generation in its genuine form. As a part of this, we decided to not help Ganesh mandals using DJ music. It has been welcomed by people from all walks of life, which is very important.
