Pune: Ek Pedh Maa Ke Naam: A Unique Mother-Child Bonding Experience at Anandvan Urban Forest on 21st July
Pune: In the alignment of Government of India’s initiative, Anandvan Foundation along with Forest department of Pune has planned a plantation drive in Anandvan 4 on 21st July 2024 7.00 AM onwards to promote this unique initiative for fostering a healthier environment and family bonding. Anandvan appeals to all the citizens of Pune to participate in this mega plantation drive along with their families, especially with their mothers. To make the event more engaging, Anandvan also invites children from various schools to bring their beautiful drawings and artwork on the theme of “Mother and Nature” on the same day. The artwork will be showcased at the venue, highlighting the creativity and imagination of the young participants and most amazing and heart touching drawings will get appreciation.
The event aims to promote the importance of conservation and sustainability among the younger generation, while honoring the selfless love and care that mothers provide. By planting a tree in their mother’s name or along with mothers, they can express their gratitude and appreciation for the unconditional support they receive. This is a very good event to make the young generation aware about the need of the hour and develop green Champions to protect our environment and sustain it for a longer time.
For over a decade and a half, Anandvan Foundation has been dedicated to developing and preserving forests. Since its inception, the Foundation has worked tirelessly to create a greener, more sustainable environment for future generations and planted more than 50, 000 trees.
This mega plantation drive aims to plant over 1,000 trees at Anandvan Urban Forest 4, which will not only contribute to a greener environment but also provide a peaceful oasis for the community to enjoy.
Join us on 21st July at
