Pune: FIR Filed Against Unauthorized School in Loni Kalbhor
Pune: The issue of unauthorized schools in rural Pune, including Pimpri-Chinchwad, is escalating. Recently, the primary and secondary education department declared 49 schools in these areas unauthorized. Following this, cases were registered against two schools in Pimpri-Chinchwad, and now, Ramdara City English Medium School in Kadam Wak Wasti is under scrutiny.
Founder Malhari Kolpe and Principal Sambhaji Koli are charged under IPC Section 419 and Section 18 of the Right to Free and Compulsory Education Act. The police report states that the school operated without government approval, misled parents, and collected fees illegally. Further investigations are ongoing.
Meanwhile, similar charges have been filed against Little Star English Medium School and Orchid International School in Chinchwad.
