Pune: Local Crime Branch seizes Manorama Khedkar’s pistol, car

Pune: Controversial probationary IAS officer Dr Puja Khedkar’s mother was recently arrested for threatening Mulshi farmers at gunpoint over a land dispute. A farmer lodged a complaint at the Paud Police Station.

Now, the Local Crime Branch (LCB) has seized Manorama Khedkar’s pistol and car.

Manorama Khedkar was sent to a two-day police custody after the Paud Police arrested her from a lodge in Mahad, district Raigad. Later, the police told the court that they had to recover the gun and the car used in the crime and had to arrest other accused.

Therefore, the action was taken by the Pune Rural Police LCB team comprising API Sudhir Sakpal and PSI (Paud PS) Yogesh Jadhav.
