Pune: President, director and principal of unauthorized Orchids International School, Undri booked
Pune: A case has been registered against the Orchids International School, Undri run by the Ira Education Society. Earlier, an offence was registered against the Orchids International School in Chinchwad. Now, another case has been filed against the Pune-based school at the Kondhwa Police Station.
Dnyandev Aba Khose (55), a resident of Wagholi, lodged a complaint in this regard. Its president J Decosta, a resident of Bangalore, director Sameer Gorde, a resident of Viman Nagar, and principal Anita Nair have been booked under sections 318(4), 336(3), 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.
According to the police, the accused continued to run the school from July 12, 2024 without fulfilling the terms and conditions laid down by the government. Unauthorised classes from Std 1 to Std 10 were started in the school. They did not seek the government permission or recognition to run these classes. They pretended to be an authorised school and gave illegal admission to students and took fees. They cheated the government, students and their parents by taking possession of certificates, other educational documents of students and cheated parents and students.
The police are investigating further.
