Pune: Bhide and Shivane bridges under water again
Pune: Water started flowing again over Bhide Bridge and Shivane Bridge on Monday morning as more water was released from the Khadakwasla Dam on Sunday night following incessant rains in the catchment areas of the Khadakwasla chain of dams.
Discharge started again on Sunday night. Residents along the river banks were alerted. The traffic police temporarily closed the Bhide Bridge for traffic.
The traffic police appealed to commuters using Bhide Bridge to reach their respective destination by using Chhatrapati Sambhaji Bridge in Deccan Gymkhana.
