Pune: Chandan Nagar Police Detained Three Accused from Gujrat in Cyber Crime Case

Pune: In a commendable achievement, the Chandan Nagar police arrested three cyber thieves who defrauded an individual of Rs 20 lakh by luring them into giving good returns if the victim invested in forex trading. Chandan Nagar police have nabbed all the accused from the Bhuj district of Gujrat.

The arrested individuals have been identified as Nakar Ronak Ashwinbhai (age 28, and a resident of Kailas Nagar, Bhuj), Shah Mohitkumar Dineshshai (age 27, and a resident of Nakhatrana, district Kachchh), and Sodha Divyaraj Singh Amarsang (age 24, and a resident of Kothara, Taluka, Abdasa, district Kachchh). All the accused have been natives of Gujrat.

The accused initially contacted the victim on the Telegram app and gained the trust of the plaintiff. The accused promised a good return on investment in forex trading and took Rs 28 lakh from the plaintiff between January 15 and February 7 this year. However, as the plaintiff neither received any such return nor his principal amount, he finally registered a complaint at Chandan Nagar police station.

Accordingly, Chandan Nagar police initiated an investigation into the case. Police traced the bank accounts and email addresses of the accused and learned that they were located in Gujrat. After that, Police Sub-Inspector Rameshwar Revle, Police Constable Ukirde, and Panpatil of Cyber ​​Squad of Chandan Nagar Police Station went to Bhuj. They detained Nakar Ashwinbhai and interrogated him. After it was found that two others were involved in this deceit, both of them have been arrested by police.

This arrest was made by the team of Police Sub-Inspector Rameshwar Revle, Police Constable Ukirde, Panpatil, Wankhade, Dahale, and Thorat, under the guidance of Deputy Commissioner Vijaykumar Magar, Assistant Commissioner Vitthal Dabade, Senior Police Inspector Sanjay Chavan, and Police Inspector Anil Mane.
