Pune: Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation Commissioner Shekhar Singh has ordered to put ‘Dilliwala and Sons’ organisation on the black list. This order comes after it was found that the organisation has embezzled Rs 1 lakh, 22 thousand, by fraudulently manipulating payment receipts. In this, the commissioner also ordered to file a case against the directors of the company.

Dead animals are generally buried in open spaces away from human habitation. Earlier, animals were being buried at J Block, Gavali Matha, in Bhosari, MIDC. Meanwhile, the place where the animals were buried was transferred to the MIDC. After that, with the approval of the Pune Municipal Corporation, the burning of animals in the city started on the incineration machine at Naidu Pond.

For this, a payment of Rs 3,000 was paid to the company for the incineration of each large dead animal. That amount was being paid to the Pune Municipal Corporation through Dilliwala and Sons. Receipts for cremation charges were being submitted to the Veterinary Department of the PMC.

However, Advocate Manish Kamble complained about it to the PMC. Accordingly, the PMC checked payment receipts and discovered that ‘Dilliwala & Sons’ company had tampered with the payment receipts. PMC found that there is a difference of Rs. 1.22 lakh between the receipts submitted by the company and the receipts of combustion charges of Pune Municipal Corporation.

After that, the Commissioner of PCMC, Shekhar Singh, ordered the blacklisting of Dilliwala & Sons Company. Also, a case will be filed against the director of this company. On this, Deputy Commissioner of the Veterinary Department Sandeep Khot said that the company was given notice three times. However, the company has not given a satisfactory response to it. And hence, this action has been taken against them.
