Pune Police CP Amitesh Kumar to Appeal Speedy Trial in Kalyaninagar Porsche Car Accident Case
Pune: Pune Police Commissioner Amitesh Kumar has informed that Pune police are appealing in court to conduct the Kalyaninagar Porsche car accident case trial in the fast-track court. In the Porsche accident case, two other crimes, along with the original crime of the accident—the blood sample tampering case and forcing the driver to change his statement before police and for detaining him—have been registered at the Yerawada Police Station.
In this case, Pune police recently filed a 900-page charge sheet in court against seven accused. These accused are charged with changing the blood samples of a minor child of a Porsche car driver and destroying the evidence.
Pune Police’s Crime Branch (Pune Police) has presented the important evidence in court, including the statements of over fifty witnesses, the analysis of the mobile phones of the accused along with CCTV footage, the report of the Regional Forensic Science Laboratory, etc., from the charge sheet.
Now, Commissioner of Police Amitesh Kumar clarified on Thursday, August 1, that Pune police will soon request the court to conduct these cases in a speedy manner.
