Dhule: Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar has got death threats. This was claimed by one of the state ministers here on Monday.

The NCP (AP) is conducting the ‘Jansanman Yatra’ led by its President Ajit Pawar across the State. He is currently touring north Maharashtra ahead of the State Assembly elections to have a dialogue with voters.

Minister Anil Patil said, “Ajit Pawar has been serving the people of the State. Such empty threats are not new. Instead of getting scared by such threats, the Yatra will continue. It will not be terminated.”

A public meeting was organised by the NCP (AP) in Dhule on Monday (August 12). Ajit Pawar was planning to address it. However, in the backdrop of the threat, his security was strengthened.
