Mega recruitment of clerks in Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation
Mumbai: Those who wish to join the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) will soon be able to fulfill their ambition.
As many as 1,846 posts of clerk will be filled by direct recruitment. An online application can be filled from August 20 to September 9. An advertisement with details about the posts has been published on the website of the BMC.
The recruitment process will be conducted by Additional Municipal Commissioner Ashwini Joshi as directed by Municipal Commissioner and Administrator Bhushan Gagrani. The posts fall under the category ‘C’ in the pay scale of Rs 25,500-Rs 81,100 (Updated pay matrix –M15) in various departments of the civic body.
The break-up of vacancies as per various reservations are as follows: SC (142), ST (150), VJ-A (49), NT-B (54), NT-C (39), NT-D (38), Special Backward Category (46), OBCs (452), EBC (185), ESBC (185) and open category (506).
