Pimpri-Chinchwad Police Arrested Two for Holding Pistols and Live Cartridges: Seized 3 Pistols and 4 Live Cartridges from Them (Video)

Pune : Despite being declared as Tadipar and being ousted from the city, the ruffian was moving in the city with a pistol in his possession. In this regard, Pimpri-Chinchwad police seized goods worth Rs 1 lakh 52 thousand, including 3 pistols and 4 live cartridges from the pistol-wielding goon and the recidivist criminal.
The ruffian has been identified as Junaid Jameel Shaikh (age 18 and a resident of Milind Nagar, Pimpri). The Police Ammaldar Rohit Waghmare and Ganesh Kakad of the Pimpri police investigation team had received a tip-off from their informant that an on-record criminal was arriving on the service road of Auto-Cluster Bridge in the evening to meet someone, and he had a pistol with him.
To corroborate the information, police laid a trap and detained Junaid Khan, who was standing suspiciously on the service road. During his check-up, police found two country-made pistols and two cartridges with him.
Further, the Police Ammaldar of Pimpri police investigation team, Vikas Reddy, got the information that a Tadipar criminal Ganesh alias Mad Bhunga Kamble (a resident of Niradhar Nagar) and the on-record criminal Taufiq alias Taufya Chand Shaikh were creating terror in the Niradhar Nagar Vasti by brandishing pistols in the air. Immediately, police went there and arrested Ganesh Kamble with a pistol and two live cartridges.
This action was taken by the team of Senior Police Inspector Ashok Kadalag, Police Inspector Dhananjay Kapre, Suhas Awhad, Assistant Police Inspector Digambar Atigre, Police Sub-Inspector Shakir Jinedi, Constable Barshinge, Hande, Bendarkar, Warde, Shinde, Zambare, Abhangrao, Police Naik Band, Mujawar, Reddy, Janrao, Waghmare, Kakad, Acharya, Bajbalkar, Dhavale, Punde, Kavthekar, Female Police Constable Konde, Kolhe, and Chavan under the guidance of Commissioner of Police Vinoy Kumar Choubey, Joint Commissioner of Police Dr. Shashikant Mahavarkar, Deputy Commissioner of Police Swapna Gore, and Assistant Commissioner of Police Sachin Hire.
