Pune: Brother’s Attempt to Intervene Ends Tragically: Youth Stabbed to Death by Notorious Gangsters in Gultekdi
Pune: The murder incidences in Pune city do not seem to stop. After the murder of the former corporator of PMC, Vanraj Andekar, the third murder incident has come to light in the city in the last three days.
In the recent murder case, the gangsters who escaped from the MCOCA Act stabbed a young man and killed him. The accused had an earlier quarrel with the brother of the deceased individual. However, after he went to save his brother, he received a severe injury and was killed.
The deceased individual has been identified as Sunil Sarode (age 20), a resident of Dice Plot, Gultekdi. In this case, the Swargate police have arrested five people, including Rohan Kamble, Sahil Kamble, and Shivsharan Dhende.
As per the police information, this murder stemmed from the earlier dispute. The accused, Sahil Kamble, had an argument with the deceased individual’s brother. Accordingly, Rohan Kamble and Sahil Kamble had come to the Dice Plot area in Gultekdi to kill Sunil Sarode’s brother along with their accomplices.
However, in an attempt to save his brother, Sunil was hit by the accused on his neck, in which his neck nerve was damaged, and he collapsed on the ground. Because of the severe bloodshed, Sunil died on the spot.
Police informed that one of the accused in this case, Sahil Kamble, was earlier booked under the sections of the MCOCA Act. He was released on bail. Meanwhile, police were taking action on Sahil Kamble, but before that, he killed one individual in Gultekdi. “After the incident, we arrested all five accused in this case,” said Deputy Commissioner of Police Smartana Patil.
