Pune: IPS Officer Sandeep Singh Gill Appointed Pune Rural SP, Pankaj Deshmukh Transferred To Mumbai Police

Pune: As the entire police force is busy preparing for the upcoming Ganeshotsav and Navratri festivals, the state government has made transfer orders of many senior officials of the police department. Amidst the Ganeshotsav preparations, the Deputy Commissioner of Police performs a very important role and is primarily tasked with maintaining law and order situations in the city.

However, in the recent orders, the state government has transferred the Deputy Commissioner of Police Pune, Sandip Singh Gill, to the post of Pune District Rural Superintendent of Police. Similarly, Pankaj Deshmukh, who was holding the post of Pune Rural Superintendent of Police until now, will be joined as Deputy Commissioner of Police in Mumbai.

Notably, Tejashwi Satpute, who worked in Pune a few years ago as Deputy Commissioner of Police of Traffic Branch, has again come to the Pune city as Deputy Commissioner of Police.

6. Vijay Chavan
   Transferred from Director, Police Force Group 10, Solapur, to Principal Police Training Centre, Solapur.
7. Lohit Matani
   Transferred from Assistant Inspector General of Police Law and Order, Mumbai, to Deputy Commissioner of Police, Nagpur City.
