Chitra Wagh trains her guns on Sushama Andhare for criticising Ganeshotsav in Pune
Ganpati Festival is being celebrated with enthusiasm again due to help by Punit Balan: Chitra Wagh lauds Punit Balan
Pune: BJP leader Chitra Wagh visited Hindustan’s first Ganpati mandal Shrimant Bhausaheb Rangari Ganpati on Tuesday (September 10). After bowing down to Bappa, she said that she prayed for the strengthening of Maha Yuti leaders. Trust Celebration Chief and Trustee Punit Balan welcomed Chitra Wagh and felicitated her.
Speaking to the media, Wagh said, “I visit Shrimant Bhausaheb Rangari Ganpati Mandal every year and go back energised for the rest of the year. I am proud of my brother Punit. Workers from all Ganesh mandals tell me that they were in a dilemma whether to celebrate the festival or not after the pandemic. However, Punit Balan helped them in the tough situation and the festival was again celebrated with enthusiasm in lanes and bylanes in Pune.
“I prayed to Ganpati to protect Punit from problems, to give him strength to render more service,” said Wagh.
When asked to comment on Shiv Sena leader Sushma Andhare’s criticism of Punit Balan, Wagh said, “I do not want to utter somebody’s name. May Ganpati grant positive thoughts to all. To comment on Punit’s work, one has to first do what he is doing and then criticise.
“We need to encourage those who are doing social work so that they work with more enthusiasm. You are witnessing what is being said. Punit is serving Bappa. Ask those for whom he is working, they will tell you what he is doing.”
