PM Narendra Modi to Visit Pune on September 27 to Inaugurate Shivajinagar to Swargate Metro Route

Amidst this, the Prime Minister Narendra Modi is going to visit Pune. Therefore, Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s upcoming visit to Pune on September 27 has gained significant political importance.
During his visit, Modi is set to inaugurate the much-anticipated Shivajinagar-Swargate underground metro route, a key project aimed at improving Pune’s public transport system. Additionally, the Swargate to Katraj metro extension, which recently received approval from the central government, will also be unveiled at this time.
High-ranking officials have confirmed that a public rally will be held at S.P. College Ground after the event, underscoring the significance of Modi’s visit in the context of the forthcoming elections.
Meanwhile, preparations for this PM’s visit are in full swing as the Chief Secretary of Maharashtra conducted a virtual meeting with divisional commissioners to ensure smooth coordination of the event.
Following this, Divisional Commissioner Dr. Chandrakant Pulkundwar chaired a meeting with various departments in Pune to finalise the arrangements. In this regard, another meeting is expected after the tour has been finalised to assess the event’s impact and address any remaining issues.
