Pune: Sachin and Supriya Pilgaonkar Visit Shrimant Bhausaheb Rangari Ganpati Trust During Film Promotion (Videos)
Pune : Senior actors Sachin Pilgaonkar and Supriya Pilgaonkar are currently touring Maharashtra to promote their upcoming Marathi film Navra Maza Navsacha 2. On September 15, the duo visited Pune as part of their promotional campaign. While in the city, they paid a visit to the Shrimant Bhausaheb Rangari Ganpati Trust and performed the aarti.
During their visit, the trust’s office bearers honoured Sachin and Supriya Pilgaonkar. Speaking to the media on this occasion, Sachin Pilgaonkar expressed his deep sense of gratitude and wonder at the experience. “I feel fortunate to be here today,” he said. “There is an inner sense of satisfaction that comes from witnessing something so unique and extraordinary. The divine glow of Lord Ganesh’s idol left me awestruck. Behind this, I see the dedication and effort of Bhausaheb Rangari. I’m eager to read about him in the published souvenir.”
Sachin went on to reflect on the significance of the Ganpati idol at the trust. He admitted, “I feel regretful that I didn’t know about this earlier. But now, every Indian should be aware of this Bappa, as this is the first public Ganpati made accessible to the people thanks to Bhausaheb Rangari’s efforts. With deep devotion, I bow before Ganpati and pay my respects to Bhausaheb Rangari. I am grateful that Punit Balan is bringing this story to the forefront.”
Pilgaonkar extended his wishes to those involved with the trust, stating, “I hope Punit Balan and all who revere Ganpati receive Bappa’s blessings. We initially came here to promote our film, but after arriving, we completely forgot about it. Ganpati knows what we seek, and his role is to give, so what can we ask him further? All we can do is look at him, bow down, and offer our prayers.”
When asked if he had made any specific requests to Ganpati, Sachin replied, “I never ask anything of him. When I look at Ganpati, I feel as though he is telling me that everything I need will come my way. What more could I ask for when I already feel blessed by his presence?”
He added that, despite this being his first visit to the trust, he plans to return after the promotions for his film have concluded. “Once October comes, and the film promotions are over, I will definitely be back to seek Bappa’s blessings again.”
Speaking about his upcoming movie Navra Maza Navsacha 2, Pilgaonkar gave a glimpse of what audiences can expect: “This film offers a lot of entertainment and enjoyment. The only thing you won’t find in theatres is Ukdiche Modak. In the first scene itself, I’m breaking a modak while Supriya is adding butter to it. This is the first shot of that scene.” He added that the movie will help people fill the emotional void felt by many after the Ganesh Visarjan.”
