Many Colors of NCP Campaign; From Animated Videos to Wall Signature Campaign and Human Chain Program Ajit Pawar’s Campaign Has Taken Diverse Forms
Pune: The creativity and unconventional ideas have become key elements of Ajit Pawar’s election campaign. NCP is trying to connect with the electorate through unique initiatives like animated videos, wall signature campaign, rangoli making competition and human chain program. The state which goes to poll in next few months has more than 9.5 crore voters. The party is leveraging digital technology to create innovative campaign ideas and connect with its supporters. At the same time, the party is using unique ideas for the ground campaign as well.
Today, a ‘Human chain program’ was organized by the party workers in Shirur assembly constituency. Hundreds of women forming a human chain walked around Vagheshwar Mahadev Mandir, Mandavgan Farata village in the Assembly Constituency in support of the welfare schemes. Sarpanch Samiksha Akshay Pharate of Mandavgan Farata area, Women District President Monika Hargude and Women Taluka President Arti Tai Bhujbal among others were present at the event. On Sunday, the party’s Women Wing organized a Signature Campaign at Parvati and Hadapsar assembly constituencies in Pune district where thousands signed in support of the welfare schemes. The party’s campaign song ‘Dada Cha Waada’ is played during these events and the people are seen dancing to the tunes of the catchy number.
Deputy Chief Minister and NCP National President Ajit Pawar’s election campaign has embraced innovative techniques on social media to engage with his supporters. Yesterday, an animated video was shared by Ajit Pawar and NCP on all social media platforms about ‘Mukhya Mantri Baliraja Vij Savlat Yojana’. Through this scheme, the government is providing free electricity to agriculture pump customers with up to 7.5 horse power capacity helping over 44.06 lakh farmers. A provision of Rs. 14,761 crores was made in the recent budget for the scheme.
Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) State President Sunil Tatkare on Friday participated in another ‘signature campaign’ in Pune. Thousands of people signed the white canvas which read – ‘I support the Majhi Ladki Bahin Scheme and want it to continue for next 5 years.’
Over the past few days, frontal organizations including the youth and women wing of the party have been actively undertaking various unique programmes to connect with the voters. Youth leader Suraj Chavan has held the signature campaign at various constituencies in the state.
Yesterday, the NCP Youth Congress and the party’s Jamkhed wing organized a grand signature campaign at the main square in Jamkhed in support of the Ladki Bahin Yojana and various other welfare schemes. The event was attended by several dignitaries, including NCP Yuvati Maharashtra State President Sandhya Sonawane and NCP Ahmednagar District President Balasaheb Nahata. A ‘Rangoli competition’ was also organized at Mohol assembly constituency in Solapur district. People made beautiful rangoli of the various schemes.
On Friday, Surah Chavan led the campaign in Vadgaon Sheri assembly, which was also attended by the MLA Sunil Tingre, Pune City President Deepak Bhau Mankar, and Pune Youth City President Sameer Dada Chandere. On September 11, Suraj Chavan organized another Signature Campaign at various locations in Pimpri assembly constituency. Earlier, on September 05th Maharashtra Women Commission Chairperson and President of NCP State Women Wing Rupali Chakankar also organized this campaign in Pune.
On Ganpati, an animated video was shared by Ajit Pawar and NCP on welfare schemes including Majhi Ladji Bahin Scheme under which Rs 1500 assistance is given to women, over 1.6 crore beneficiaries have already received the instalment and under Annapurna Yojana 52 lakh households are receiving free cylinders, crediting these schemes to Ganpati Bappa. On September 08, the NCP launched a new campaign song – ‘दादाचा वादा’ which received over 1 crore views within a day. Few weeks ago, Ajit Pawar had launched a new campaign song – ‘काम करत अलोय, काम करत रहणार’’ the video had attracted more than 75 lakh views on social media within few days of its launch.
Frontal organizations including students wing, cultural wing, social justice wing and minorities wing of the party are also organizing unique campaigns at various assembly constituencies in the state.
