Pune:

In a shocking case of fraud, the Chakan Police have filed charges against six individuals, including a lawyer, following a complaint of deceit involving the making of a fake sale agreement. The incident, which took place on December 17, 2021, at the Chakan Sub-Registrar Office, has left the victim grappling with the ramifications of the fraud.

In this regard, Ananda Damu Bhosale (age 60, a resident of Padali, Wada Road, Taluka Khed) has filed a complaint at Chakan Police Station. Accordingly, Chakan police have registered a case against Govinda alias Ramu Damu Bhosle (a resident of Padali, Taluka Khed), Dhiraj Kumar Surendra Shethiya (a resident of Chakan, Taluka Khed), Witness Sunil Ganpat Walunj (a resident of Shiroli, Taluka Khed), Deepak Kondibhau Pabale (a resident of Kadaghe, Taluka Khed), and a duplicate Person and Advocate Ravindra Karnawat (a resident of Khed).

According to police reports, the dispute centers around a 41 R area of ancestral land in Padali. The plaintiff alleges that his brother orchestrated a fraudulent scheme to sell this portion of land. The accused allegedly arranged for a duplicate person to impersonate the plaintiff and forged his fake thumbprint and signature on the sale agreement of the land in the sub-registrar office in Chakan. This document was then used by Ramu Bhosale to execute the sale transaction unlawfully.

Upon discovering the fraud, Ananda Bhosale promptly reported the incident to the Chakan Police. The case has been registered against the six suspects, with Police Sub-Inspector Talwade leading the further investigation into the case.
