The Pune Anti-Narcotics Cell has seized 22 kg of Ganja worth Rs. 4.51 lakh from the recidivist accused, who came to Pune from Parbhani for the alleged sale of Ganja. The person from whom the Ganja was seized by police has been identified as Vaibhav Laxman Rathod (age 19, a resident of Dhawalkewadi Village, Malewadi, Taluka Gangakhed, District Parbhani).

The police Ammaldar Chetan Gaikwad got the information about the accused while Police Inspector Sudarshan Gaikwad and other police officers were patrolling. Accordingly, the police caught Vaibhav Rathod, who was suspiciously standing at Nimbalkar Nagar in the Viman Nagar area.

When his luggage was checked by the police following the detention, they found 22 kg of Ganja in his bag. Accordingly, a complaint has been registered against him at Viman Nagar Police Station.

This action was taken by the team of the Police Inspector of the Anti-Narcotics Cell Sudarshan Gaikwad, Police Sub Inspector Digambar Chavan, Police Ammaldar Chetan Gaikwad, Prashant Bomadandi, Yogesh Mandhare, Sandeep Jadhav, Disha Khevalkar, Sahil Sheikh, Sandeep Shelke, Azim Sheikh, and Nitin Jagdale under the guidance of Police Commissioner Amitesh Kumar, Assistant Police Commissioner Ranjan Kumar Sharma, Additional Police Commissioner Shailesh Balkawade, Deputy Police Commissioner Nikhil Pingle, and Assistant Police Commissioner Rajendra Mulik.
