Ladki Bahin would not have got Rs 1,500 per month, had we not gone to Guwahati: Shahaji Bapu Patil
Sangli: Shiv Sena (BT) leader Shahaji Bapu Patil has said that women would not have got Rs 1,500 per month under the Ladki Bahin Yojana, had they not gone to Guwahati.
Patil was addressing a public meeting in Sangli. He said, “Uddhav Thackeray should swear by his son and claim that the MLAs supporting CM Eknath Shinde got Rs 50 crore. We will also swear by our children that we did not get Rs 50 crore. They merely spread lies that we got money. God will not forgive them for levelling such allegations.”
Ladki Bahin may not have got the money…
Patil said, “Had we not gone to Guwahati, women in the State may not have got Rs 1,500 per month, power bills of farmers may not have been waived. We never wanted to vote for Sanjay Raut. For us, the Shiv Sena was more important. Therefore, Eknath Shinde instructed us to vote for him.”
Patil alleged that the MVA was collecting scrap. He expressed the confidence that Eknath Shinde would definitely become the Chief Minister again.
The State Government gives Rs 1,500 per month to poor women. Crores of women have applied under the Ladki Bahin scheme. The last date of application was September 30 but it could be extended in the backdrop of the assembly elections.
The third installment under the Yojana is being distributed.
