Hadapsar Police Registered Case Against Gangster Rishikesh Kamthe and His Accomplices After They Hold Celebratory Procession Following Bail
Pune: In February 2021, the notorious gangster Gaja Marne took out a grand procession from Taloja Jail to Pune after he was acquitted in one of the police cases against him. This procession garnered significant media coverage back then, catching everyone’s attention. However, after this, every small and big gangsters have started taking out processions and rallies after getting bail.
Recently, a gangster from Manjari took out a procession and cheered after getting out on bail. In this regard, Hadapsar Police have registered a case against him along with his accomplices.
Police Ammaldar Umesh Machhindra Shelar has filed a complaint at Hadapsar police station. Accordingly, the police have registered a case against gangster Rishikesh Kamthe (a resident of Mahadev Nagar, Manjari), his accomplices Ganesh Shinde, Rohan Shinde, Akshay Kanchan, Pratik Kanchan, Prakash Hole, and 10 to 15 others. This incident took place at Mahadev Nagar in Manjari on October 1 between 7:30 and 8:30 p.m.
As per the police information, Rishikesh Kamthe is a notorious criminal, and multiple cases of serious crimes such as extortion, threat, robbery, and theft have been registered against him in Loni Kalbhor and Hadapsar Police Station.
Police informed that the Loni Kalbhor police had registered a case against Rishikesh Kamthe and his accomplices in the case of threatening and robbing a hotelier, and he was arrested on July 27, 2024, in that case. He recently got bail in this crime.
Surprisingly, after getting bail, his accomplices took out his procession in the Mahadev Nagar area of Manjari and created terror among the people. In this regard, a case has been registered against Kamthe and his accomplices for violating the restraining order issued by Deputy Commissioner of Police Shridhar.
