Pune: Chaturshringi Police Arrest Four in Nagaland Student Robbery Case, Including Two Minor
Pune: The Chaturshringi police have arrested two individuals who, along with two minor accomplices, robbed a student from Nagaland at knifepoint while he was cycling and trekking in the Sus-Pashan Hills
The arrested individuals have been identified by police as Ajinkya Ashok Bobade (age 18, a resident of Gurukrupa Building, Sant Tukaram Nagar, Navi Sangvi) and Nikhil Babasaheb Dongre (age 18, a resident of Saket Society, Ambedkar Chowk, Aundh). In this regard, Paujenrai Kamei (age 19, a resident of Ganga Nagar, Old Sangvi) lodged a complaint at Chaturshringi Police Station.
The plaintiff is an original resident of Nagaland, and he has been studying at Spicer College on Aundh Road. On September 28, he had gone to Sus-Pashan Road for cycling along with his friends. At that time, four accused robbed them and took their mobile phones and other belongings worth Rs 20 thousand after assaulting them.
On getting the confidential information in this regard, Chaturshringi police immediately detained the four accused in this case. Subsequently, police also seized a machete, a motorcycle, and other things that were used in crime from the accused worth 1 lakh 20 thousand 200 rupees.
This action has been taken by the team of Senior Police Inspector Mahesh Bolkotgi, Vijayanand Patil, Assistant Police Inspector Narendra Patil, Police Constable Sudhakar Mane, Irfan Momin, Babasaheb Dangde, Shridhar Shirke, Kishare Dushing, Sandeep Durge, Vishal Shirke, Police Constable Babasaheb Bhangle, Pradip Kharat, Shrikant Sable, and Prashant Gaikwad under the guidance of Commissioner of Police Amitesh Kumar, Joint Commissioner of Police Ranjan Kumar Sharma, Additional Commissioner of Police Manoj Patil, Deputy Commissioner of Police Himmat Jadhav, and Assistant Commissioner of Police Anuja Deshmane.
