Pune: People will defeat petty MLA who sent notice to Sharad Pawar: Bapusaheb Pathare

Pune: Vadgaon Sheri MLA Sunil Tingre sent notices to all political parties to not defame him over the hit-and-run case in Kalyani Nagar.
NCP (SP) MP Supriya Sule clarified this in a poll rally in Vadgaon Sheri. She said that Tingre sent the notice to NCP (SP) President Sharad Pawar. This led to criticism of Tingre from all quarters. Now, NCP (SP) candidate from Vadgaon Sheri Bapusaheb Pathare has hit out at Tingre in this regard.
Pathare said, “Voters will defeat the petty MLA, who sent notice to Sharad Pawar.”
Former BJP corporators Rekha Tingre and Chandrakant Tingre joined the NCP (SP) on Thursday (November 14) in the presence of Sharad Pawar. Bapu Pathare was also present.
Speaking on the occasion, Pathare said, “A person not having the stature sent the notice to Sharad Pawar. Now, residents of Vadgaon Sheri would expose him. Sharad Pawar did not even give two hoots to the ED notice. Therefore, a petty MLA sending a notice to him will not go down well with the people, who will defeat him.
“Vadgaon Sheri residents have been terrified by Sunil Tingre. Nobody dares to speak against him in public. Fed with his arrogance, other Tingre families and the entire town have supported me. Rekha Tingre has entered the NCP (SP). She will ensure that I will get the highest votes from her area. It will be revealed on the day of counting of votes that I will get the highest lead from MLA Tingre’s area.”
