Pune: Song hailing Bapusaheb Pathare goes viral on social media, enchants youths
Pune: Bapusaheb Pathare is the NCP (SP)-MVA candidate from the Vadgaon Sheri Assembly constituency. He started his political career as a gram panchayat member. Later, he was elected as the sarpanch of the then Kharadi Gram Panchayat.
He was elected by the people as a Panchayat Samiti member, Zilla Parishad member and a corporator. He served as the Chairman of the Standing Committee of the PMC. He was elected as an MLA from the NCP in 2009. Citizens from his constituency are fond of him.
One of his fans composed a Marathi song ‘Bapusaheb yeu de’ in the backdrop of the State elections, which has gone viral on social media. The introductory verse of the song goes like this: ‘Ek sath ek naad de re, Bapusaheb yeu de punha, disha disha hi tutari ghumu de re, Bapusaheb yeu de punha’. It appeals to voters to vote for him again and to elect him as their MLA.
The lyrics and music create a celebratory atmosphere. Many people are humming the song. Therefore, it has become a big hit on social media.
