Pune: Anti-Human Trafficking Unit Busted Irene Spa Centre for Running Prostitution Ring on NIBM Road; Spa Owner and Manager Arrested

In a significant action, the Anti-Human Trafficking and Trade Prevention Unit (AHTU Pune) has busted a prostitution racket at Irene Spa on NIBM Road and arrested the manager and spa owner. The accused were operating a prostitution racket in a massage centre under the guise of a spa.
The names of the arrested individuals are Shiv Rajesh Bhosale (age 21, a resident of Sainik Vihar, NIBM post office road) and Nikhil Rajendra Naik (age 26, a resident of Green Park Society, Phursungi). Bhosale and Naik are the manager and owner of the Irene massage centre.
In this regard, Chaya Jadhav, Assistant Police Sub-Inspector of the Anti-Human Trafficking and Trade Prevention Unit, has filed a complaint at Kondhwa Police Station. This action was taken at 4 p.m. on Saturday.
According to the information, the police received a tip-off, suggesting that the victim girls were being obtained for prostitution at the Irene Spa centre on NIBM Road and were being forced into prostitution by luring them with more money. Accordingly, police sent a fake customer to the spa centre to verify the authenticity of the news. After confirming the news, the police raided the Irene Spa and busted the prostitution racket.
Police found that the spa owner and manager were running a prostitution business with girls in the name of a spa and were managing their livelihood from the money they earned from it. The police arrested the manager and the spa owner and seized three mobile phones and cash worth Rs 76,000 from them. Police Inspector Sheikh is investigating further in this case.
