Bangladeshi Woman Detained in Pune for Illegally Entering India Without Valid Documents; Case Registered Against Her at Bundgarden Police Station
Pune:
A Bangladeshi woman who reportedly entered India illegally and travelled from Bangalore to Pune by train has been detained by Bundgarden Police. A case has been registered against her for unauthorised infiltration. The detained woman has been identified as Muslamia Abdul Aziz Pyaada (age 27, a resident of West Kolagasia, Thana Amtuli, District Borguna, Bulishakhali, Bangladesh).
In this regard, Police Ammaldar Bhagyashree Sagar lodged a complaint at Bundgarden Police Station. As per the police information, Muslamia is a Bangladeshi citizen, and she has completed her education up to the 8th standard. She got off the train from Bangalore to Pune on Tuesday. After that, she was wandering near the rickshaw stand outside platform no. 6 at the railway station.
Police informed that she did not know any language other than Bengali. As she was wandering for a long time at the rickshaw stand, the Bundgarden police got information about her. After that, women officers of Damini Pathak reached there and took her to the Bundgarden police station. In the interrogation, the woman said that she had reached Kolkata from Bangladesh. Surprisingly, she was given fake documents there, with the help of which she went to Bangalore on a flight.
However, as she did not find any work there, she came to Pune in search of some work. As it is illegal to enter India from Bangladesh without any valid documents and without the permission of the local civil authorities on the India-Bangladesh border, she has been confirmed to be an infiltrator from Bangladesh. Therefore, a case has been registered against her at Bundgarden police station, and Assistant Police Inspector Mujawar is investigating further in this case.
