Pune: Kedgaon Police Arrested 7 Women for Inciting People to Prostitution by Making Obscene Gestures in Public Places

Few women were allegedly inciting people into prostitution by making obscene gestures in public places in the Chaufula area. In this regard, a police case has been registered against 7 women under the Prevention of Immoral Trafficking Act.
On Tuesday, November 3, the police received information that some women were exposing themselves in semi-nude clothes near the bridge, some distance from the PMT bus stand on Chaufula-Supa road, and were inducing people passing by to prostitution.
After that, Assistant Police Inspector Praveen Sapange, Assistant Faujdar B.P. Shendge, Police Constable P.S. Maske, Female Police Constable Swapnali Tilve, and Police Constable Rajiv Saple of Kedgaon Police Station immediately rushed to the place.
At that time, they observed that 6 to 7 women were behaving obscenely near the PMT bus stop near the bridge on the Kedgaon to Supa road in the Boripardhi-Chaufula area, inducing men with obscene gestures and salacious acts. In this case, the police detained 7 women from the Urali Kanchan and Daund areas on Tuesday, November 3. Police constable Rajiv Saple filed a complaint in this case.
