Charholi Stabbing Case Solved: Accused and Minor Individual Detained in Murder Probe

An individual was stabbed to death with a sharp weapon due to a family dispute in the Kalewadi area of Charholi. The Anti-Extortion and Industrial Grievance Redressal Squad has succeeded in solving this murder case and arrested the accused along with the minor individual.
The name of the murdered individual was Sachinkumar Lakhidar Rai (age 23, a resident of Bangri, District Muzaffarpur, Bihar). The accused has been identified as Gautam Ramanand Rai (age 22, a resident of Tejas Residency, Mangal Nagar, Wakad, and an original resident of Bangri, Taluka Kati, District Muzaffarpur, Bihar).
The incident of Sachinkumar Rai being stabbed to death with a sharp weapon in the Kalewadi area in Charholi came to light on the evening of December 5. After that, Senior Police Inspector Devendra Chavan and a police Ammaldar from the Anti-Extortion Squad examined the CCTV footage from the scene. In this, the name of the accused was deduced from the description of the unknown person.
After that, based on the information received by Police Constable Ashish Botke and the technical analysis done by Assistant Faujdar Sunil Kangude, police found that the main suspect was in Kala Khadak. Accordingly, the police team went to Kala Khadak and arrested Gautam Rai. In the subsequent interrogation, the accused confessed to committing the murder with the help of a minor boy from the family dispute.
After that, the police detained a 17-year-old minor boy from Mohitewadi in Maval taluka. He has been handed over to Dighi Police Station for further action.
This action was taken by the team of Senior Police Inspector Devendra Chavan, Assistant Police Faujdar Sunil Kangude, Police Ammaldar Pradeep Godambe, Ashish Botke, Chandrakant Jadhav, Dnyaneshwar Kurhade, and Mangesh Jadhav, as well as Police Ammaldar of the Technical Analysis Department, Nagesh Mali, under the guidance of Police Commissioner Vinoy Kumar Choubey, Joint Police Commissioner Dr. Shashikant Mahavarkar, Additional Police Commissioner Vasant Pardeshi, Deputy Commissioner of Police Sandeep Doifode, Assistant Police Commissioner Balasaheb Kopnar, and Dr. Vishal Hire.
