Major Drug Bust in Pimpri-Chinchwad: Anti-Narcotics Cell Seized 9 Kg Ganja, Arrested Three People

In a significant action, the Anti-Narcotics Cell seized approximately nine kg of ganja in two separate actions from the city. For the past few days, the Anti-Narcotics Cell has been keeping a close watch on the sale of ganja in Pimpri-Chinchwad city. In this background, the police have seized nine kg of ganja from Pimpri Chinchwad.
In this case, police have arrested three individuals, Suraj Pandit Pawar, Hafizali Mehebubali Sayyid, and Mohini Anand Jadhav.
As per the police information, the Anti-Narcotics Cell was patrolling at Kala Khadak. At that time, police officer Vikram Gaikwad of the Anti-Narcotics Cell received information that two suspects, Suraj Pandit Pawar and Hafizali Mehebubali Sayyid, were having ganja with them. Accordingly, the police arrested them and found three kg 722 grams of ganja at Suraj Pawar’s house. The police also found two mobile phones in their possession.
In the second incident, the police found a woman named Mohini Jadhav standing suspiciously near the toilet in the vicinity of the Datta temple in Nigdi. In the subsequent search following her detention, police found 4 kg of ganja at Mohini’s house.
In both actions, around nine kg of ganja have been seized by the Anti-Narcotics Cell. This operation was conducted under the guidance of Police Inspector Santosh Patil of the Anti-Narcotics Cell.
