Pune: Annual Sports Day at Muktangan English School

Pune – The much-awaited Annual Sports Day at Muktangan English School was held recently. Grandmaster Chandrakant Bhosale, World Vice President of World Traditional Taekwondo Federation and Asian Head of Taekwondo was present as the Chief Guest. The event began with a welcome song presented by the students. On this occasion, the students demonstrated a few Asanas to showcase the power of Yoga. On the occasion of Sports Day, Relay Race, Dodge Ball, Tug of war and 50 meter Race were conducted in which students participated enthusiastically.

In the introduction, Vice President of Pune Vidyarthi Griha, S. M. Jirge said, “Various sports activities are started in the school like Mallakhamb, Taekwondo, Skating, Archery, Chess Club and a few other activities like Tabla Classes, Abacus, Robotics, Bharatnatyam and we have best of national level coaches to train the students for each of the above activities”. Anand Kulkarni, Director, Muktangan English School and Junior College, Rekha Bali, Principal, Primary and Pre-Primary Section, supervisors, teachers, students and parents attended the event. The day concluded with the Chief Guest presenting awards to the winners of the various events. The prize distribution ceremony recognized the efforts and achievements of the top performers, inspiring others to continue pursuing excellence in sports.
