Ajit Pawar comments on Chhagan Bhujbal-Devendra Fadnavis meeting

Pune: NCP (AP) leader and former minister Chhagan Bhujbal has been criticising his party leaders, including Ajit Pawar, Sunil Tatkare and Praful Patel, after he was not given a ministerial berth.
He said that he was planning to leave the party. In this backdrop, he met Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis in Mumbai and held a discussion for over half an hour. Political circles were busy discussing possible fallout of the meeting.
DyCM Ajit Pawar, who was on a Pune visit on Monday (December 23) said that it was their party’s internal issue and refused to comment further when asked questions on it.
When it was pointed out to Pawar that Bhujbal might join the BJP after his meeting with Fadnavis, he said, “It is our internal party matter. We will solve it in our own way.”
‘Traffic issues in Pune will be sorted out’
Ajit Pawar surveyed various development projects in the city and conducted a meeting with officials. He commented on traffic issues in Pune. He said, “It is my first visit to Pune after becoming the DyCM again. I held a meeting with all officials in Pune. We cleared many projects in our previous tenure. Traffic is a major issue in Pune. In this regard, an important meeting will be held in a fortnight, where the police department, the District Collector, the Divisional Commissioner, and civic officials will be present. Today, I will visit SARATHI to discuss its issues.”
