Young Entrepreneur Punit Balan honoured with Rasikagrani Award; felicitated with gratitude for his social work (Video)

Pune: City-based Young Entrepreneur Punit Balan has been honoured with the Rasikagrani Award at the Swar Zankar Sangeet Mahotsav. Pt Atulkumar Upadhye, Pt Vijay Ghate and Padma Shri Hariharan presented the award.
The Swar Zankar Sangit Mahotsav is organised in the highest number of cities across the country. It is the 16th year of the music festival in Pune. Many stalwarts from the world of music have performed in the fest.
Punit Balan was felicitated in the festival by the Upadhye Violin Vidyalaya, which has instituted the prestigious Rasikagrani Puraskar in the memory of the Late Dajikaka Gadgil. The award consists of a plaque, a memento, a shawl and a shrifal (coconut). Javed Ali, Rahul Deshpande, Rajas Upadhye and Tejas Upadhye were present.
Punit Balan, through his Indrani Balan Foundation, has signed an MoU with the Indian Army to renovate and run 15 closed schools owned by the latter in the Kashmir Valley. Moreover, the foundation also runs schools for special children. The foundation and Punit Balan personally extend all types of help to terror-affected children and sportspersons.
He also supports budding players in various disciplines of sports through Punit Balan Group (PBG). He has installed the highest Tricolour flagpole in Kashmir. Moreover, he also gives valuable aid to needy patients, religious work and various cultural festivals.
Balan is the Festival Chief and Trustee of the Shrimant Bhausaheb Rangari Ganpati Trust, which pioneered the Ganeshotsav in Hindustan. He supported Ganesh mandals during the Corona pandemic. He was honoured in the Swar Zankar Festival for his contribution to various social causes.
