Pune: Grand community recitation of Sri Uvasaggaharam Stotra on Sunday (August 17)

Pune: A recitation of Sri Uvasaggaharam Stotra is considered very auspicious by the Jain community. A regular recitation of Sri Uvasaggaharam Stotra is believed to ward off adverse impact of planetary constellations, to heal diseases and to protect oneself from enemies and worldly problems. Thus, one becomes happy and prosperous.
Therefore, a community recitation of the auspicious Stotra is organised every year by the Rasiklal M Dhariwal Foundation. Such initiatives are needed in today’s world for positive energy. This is the 9th year of the event, which was first held in the presence of Hon’ble Shri Rasiklalji Dhariwal and Sant and Sadhvi M.S. in 2017.
RMD Foundation President Janhavi Dhariwal Balan and Vice-President Shobha Rasiklal Dhariwal have organised a community recitation of the Sri Uvasaggaharam Stotra in the presence of Acharya Padmashri Chandanaji M.S., Pujya Shri Jayprabha Vijayji Gurudev M.S., and Pujya Shri Agamchandraji Swami M.S. at 4 pm on Sunday (August 17, 2025) at the Shriman Rasiklalji M Dhariwal Sthanak Bhavan Yash Lawns, Bibvewadi, Pune.
The recitation will start sharp at 4 pm. All, including the elderly, children, the Jain and non-Jain, are invited to partake in the auspicious Stotra, along with families and friends. It is mandatory for male participants to wear white clothes while female participants must put on saffron or yellow clothes. ‘Chouvihar’ (holy meals) will be provided immediately after the programme, said Foundation’s Shobha Rasiklalji Dhariwal.
