Lt Gen Dhiraj Seth, PVSM, AVSM, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief SouthernCommand, reviewed the operational readiness of SudarshanChakra Corps and ShahbaazDivision during ExerciseMaruJwala being conducted in the Thar Desert under the TriServices framework of ExerciseTrishul.
The exercise was a validation of innovative Tactics, Techniques and Procedures (TTPs) incorporating new generation equipment and indigenously produced drones and counter-drone systems. The exercise involved combat manoeuvres by all arms including mechanised and infantry columns, aviation assets of TharRaptors and IndianAirForce in realistic combat conditions in the Desert Sector.
The Army Commander interacted with participating troops and commended all ranks of SudarshanChakraCorps and all participating formations and units of Southern Command, Airborne Forces and IndianAirForce for their professionalism, agility & operational excellence.
