Pune: Young Woman Crushed to Death by Dumper Near Hinjawadi IT Park; Locals Demand Strict Action
Pune: A dumper truck claimed yet another life in the Hinjawadi IT Park area this afternoon. Around 2 pm, near Life Republic Society on Punawale Road, the driver of a dumper truck ran over 20-year-old Tanvi Siddheshwar Sakhare, resulting in her tragic death on the spot.
Angry locals caught the driver and handed him over to the Hinjawadi Police. Residents expressed strong resentment over the frequent fatal accidents caused by recklessly driven and illegally operating dumper trucks in the Hinjawadi, Marunji, and Mann areas. They have demanded strict action from the Pimpri-Chinchwad Traffic Police and the Regional Transport Department.
