Pune: Notorious Criminal Carrying Pistol Arrested by Crime Branch; Ramzan alias Tipu Adam Patel Held

Pune : In Pune, the Crime Branch Unit-1 arrested a history-sheeter who was allegedly carrying a country-made pistol.
Police seized a desi pistol and live cartridges from him during the operation in the Mangalwar Peth area.

The accused has been identified as Ramzan alias Tipu Adam Patel (33), resident of Shirur, Pune district.

According to police, the team received a tip-off that a man possessing a country-made pistol was standing near the Birth & Death Registration Office in Mangalwar Peth.
Acting on the information, the police team detained the suspect and recovered a pistol worth ₹50,000 along with a live cartridge worth ₹1,000 from his possession.

A case has been registered under the Arms Act at Faraskhana Police Station, and the accused has been taken into custody.
