Pune: “Chandrakant Dada, Why Are You Spoiling the Happiness of Punekars?”; NCP Leader Amol Balwadkar’s Sharp Question (Video)
Pune: Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leader Amol Balwadkar has once again launched a strong attack on Chandrakant Patil, accusing him of neither taking initiative himself nor allowing others to work.
Raising a pointed question “Chandrakant Dada, why are you adding salt to the happiness of Punekars?” Balwadkar said that positive decisions meant for the welfare of citizens are being unnecessarily criticised.
He was responding to remarks made by Chandrakant Patil on the announcement by Ajit Pawar, who had promised free metro and bus services for citizens of Pune and Pimpri-Chinchwad in the party manifesto. Patil had questioned whether Ajit Pawar had consulted the Chief Minister before making such an announcement.
Hitting back, Amol Balwadkar said that Chandrakant Patil “does nothing himself and does not allow others to do anything either.” He added that instead of questioning pro-people announcements, leaders should support initiatives that bring relief and benefits to the citizens of Pune and Pimpri-Chinchwad.
