Nandurbar: MPCC President Nana Patole has made serious allegations while commenting on the Badlapur incident, in which two minor girls were sexually abused in a school.

Patole said, “The school, where the incident happened, follows the BJP and the RSS ideology. There is pressure on the police.”

He was speaking to the media. He attacked the State Government. Patole said, “The ruling alliance is building a Maharashtra that works for Gujarat. The police are facing pressure because the school follows the BJP and RSS ideology. The CCTV footage of the incident is missing. The Chief Minister tried to suppress the incident by visiting Badlapur.”

The State Government is politicising the issue

He said, “People agitated because the police were not acting and arresting the accused. This is not a subject of politics. The government is poiticising the issue. We have given a call for Maharashtra Bandh on August 24. This will be a lesson for the government, which has maligned the image of the State. As many as 22,000 sexual assaults took place from 2014 to 2024, within 10 years in the State.”

Unconstitutional government in the State

Patole hit out at the government over the Ladki Bahin Yojana. He said, “Over Rs 400 crore has been spent to advertise the Ladki Bahin scheme. People told the government that they do not need government money, they want safety for girls. This is an unconstitutional government. The ruling trio is looting the State treasure.”

Maharashtra Bandh on August 24

The Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) has given a call for Maharashtra Bandh on August 24 to protest against the sexual abuse of two girls in the Badalpur school, said Nana Patole.

The incident has maligned the image of the State. People should participate in the bandh in a large number, he said.
