Pune: 17-Year-Old Individual Was Murdered by Girl’s Parents in Wagholi for Speaking to Her

In a shocking incident, three men, including the girl’s father and brother, assaulted a 17-year-old individual with hands and legs and murdered him by hitting him with an iron rod and stone in the head over the anger that he was talking to the girl.

The name of the deceased individual is Ganesh Waghu Dhande (age 17, a resident of Gore Vasti, Wagheshwar Nagar, Wagholi).

In this regard, the Wagholi police have arrested Nitin Petkar (age 31), Sudhir Petkar (age 32), and Laxman Petkar (age 60), all residents of Wagheshwar Nagar, Gore Vasti, Wagholi, on the complaint of Waghu Maruti Dhande, the father of the deceased individual.

This incident took place in front of Petkar’s house in Gore Vasti on January 2 at 12:30 a.m.

According to the police information, Ganesh Dhande was coming to his house in Gore Vasti on a motorcycle with his friend on the night of January 2. At that time, the accused halted his path and abused and assaulted him with hands and legs over the anger of him talking to Laxman Petkar’s daughter. Further, in a fit of anger, they all killed Ganesh by hitting him in the head with an iron rod and stone.

Wagholi police have arrested three individuals, and Assistant Police Inspector Vinayak Ahire is investigating further in this case.
