Pune: Following the recent arrests of two mediators in the Porsche car accident case involving Vishal Agarwal, the father of the minor accused, and Dr. Ajay Tware, another suspect, Arunkumar Singh, has sought anticipatory bail from the Sessions Court. Singh, who is currently on the run, filed his petition on Thursday.

Arunkumar Devnath Singh, 47, a resident of Viman Nagar, is the father of one of the boys present in the Porsche at the time of the accident. The incident, which involved Vedant Agarwal, a minor driving under the influence of alcohol, has sparked significant controversy.

In an attempt to protect the minors involved, two individuals, Aditya Avinash Sood (52) and Ashish Satish Mittal (39), allegedly submitted their own blood samples for testing. Sood, a resident of B.T. Kawade Road, provided his blood for his son, while Mittal, who also resides in Viman Nagar, did the same for Arunkumar Singh’s son.

Both Sood and Mittal have since been arrested and are currently in police custody until August 26. Meanwhile, the court held a hearing on Singh’s bail plea on Thursday, but a decision has not yet been made in this regard.
