Pune Social Worker Receives Death Threat on Facebook Over Comments on Baba Siddique Murder Case

In a shocking incident, a social worker from Pune has received a death threat on his Facebook account for commenting on the Baba Siddique Murder Case on social media. In this regard, a 40-year-old social worker has lodged a complaint at Swargate Police Station. Accordingly, police registered a case against the fake Facebook account holder named Sumit Dada Ghule Patil.
The plaintiff is a social worker working in Pune, and he runs a social organisation named ‘Uddishta Prerna Group’. He also has a car care and washing centre in Mahabaleshwar, Satara. As per the police complaint, the plaintiff uploaded one post on his Facebook account after the murder of political leader Baba Siddique. After that, he also posted another Facebook post after it was revealed that this attack was carried out by the Lawrence Bishnoi gang after police apprehended three attackers in this case.
In his post, the plaintiff expressed the desire to catch the mastermind behind this attack and demanded stricter punishment for the accused in this case. However, after this, he received a death threat on his Facebook account by a fake Facebook account created under the name of Sumit Dada Ghule Patil. The police suspected that the person who sent the death threat could be a member of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang.
The Swargate police have registered a case against the accused, and Senior Police Inspector Yuvraj Nandre is investigating further into the case.
