Gruesome Murder Stunned Pune: Minor Sister Girls Brutally Murdered by Waiter in Rajguru Nagar, Police Found Their Bodies in Water Barrel

A perturbing incident has come to light from Pune’s Rajguru Nagar area, where two minor sisters were brutally murdered by a waiter and kept their bodies packed in the water barrel. This disgusting incident took place on Thursday, December 26, in a crowded residential area on Wada Road in Rajguru Nagar.

The murdered girls have been identified as Kartiki Sunil Makwane (age 9) and Durva Sunil Makwane (age 8). They both were sisters of each other. As per the preliminary information, it is learnt that the girl’s dead bodies were found in a room of six migrant boys, who worked at a beer bar.

Police informed that on Wednesday, December 25, the girls went missing while playing in the afternoon. However, in the evening, their parents lodged a missing complaint of girls at Khed police station after they could not find them. The parents of the girls are labourers and earn their livelihood through labour work.

Police Inspector Prabhakar More informed that while searching for the girl, the police received a tip-off from their informant about the girl’s dead bodies. Accordingly, police searched the room of boys who worked in a bar adjacent to the chawl where the girls’ family lived. At that time, both girls were found dead, with their bodies tightly kept in a barrel with only knee-deep water.

After the girls’ bodies were recovered, their bodies were taken to Chandoli Rural Hospital for autopsy. Though the police are investigating further, the police informed that it is not possible to immediately confirm whether there was any carnal abuse or not.

The murderer is a 50-year-old and is working as a waiter at Dhanraj Bar in Rajguru Nagar. The police have reportedly arrested the accused from a lodge in Pune around 4 a.m. and are investigating the case further.
